摘要：

With the introduction of ir detectors that exhibit short time constants, a fast scan ir camera became feasible. This paper describes such a camera, outlines some of its possible uses, and discusses the results obtained in practical applications. Included in the review of nondestructive testing applications are a casting ladle, heating pipe, oil burning furnace, and building insulation. An example of breast cancer detection is included. © 1968 Optical Society of America.
