摘要
The design of a production of doubly curved surfaces is a very complicated process, for besides the geometrical information the deformation behavior of the material has to be taken into account. The essential solid-state-mechanical fundaments are stated. The system for the representation of doubly curved surfaces consists of the following components: (a) computer internal representation (CIR) in the form of finite elements; (b) analytical description of the surface with normalized Gauss coordinates inside the elements; (c) checking of the CIR (grid with or without masked edges, perspective representation with a coloured shadding); and (d) graphic representation of the physical quantities. These components are constituent parts of a CAD system for the forming of doubly curved surfaces. © 1990.
