摘要
The three varieties ofCryptococcus albidus sensuPhaff and Fell (1970) were examined bynDNA/nDNA optical reassociation. Significant nucleotide sequence divergence between varieties indicates that the group should be divided into three separate species:Cr. albidus, Cr. aerius, andCr. diffluens. Results of physiological analyses done on the newly separated species allow for the distinction of the taxa. © 1991 Academic Press, Inc.
