摘要：

Immunogenic fractions, viz. plasma membrane (PMI), protein fraction (PFI) and sonicated suspension (SSI), of Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri with incomplete Freund's adjuvant were separately inoculated in 9 animals of each group with protein concentration of 0.25 mg/goat by sic route along with the controls. This was followed by a booster dose of the same quantity after third week of inoculation. Indirect haemagglutinating (IHA) and complement fixing (CF) antibody response were monitored in the sera collected at definite intervals up to 5 months. The IHA antibodies were detected in 45% of gears immunized with PMI or SSI and 56% of goats immunized with PFI at day 4 PI. All the sera showed IHA antibodies at day 7 PI except those belonging to PMI group which became positive at day 21 PI in ail the goats. The CT; antibodies were observed only on day 7 PI in all the goats and maintained up to 20 weeks PI.
