摘要
Ammonium ions, compared to nitrate ions as the source of nitrogen nutrition, increased the activities of ribulose bisphosphate oxygenase and of glutamate-glyoxylate and alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferases in soybean leaves; glycolate oxidase activity was unchanged. Beside photorespiratory metabolism, U-C-14 glycerate was an efficient serine precursor especially in plants grown with ammonium. These results are discussed in order to explain higher serine content of the soybean plants fed with ammonium nitrogen.
