摘要：

In the recent years interest has been paid to chitin and its derivatives as stationary phase in chromatography. In this paper the use of chitin and its deacetylated derivative - chitosan - in chromatography of ions of d-electron metals such as Cu(II), Co(II), Cd(II), Hg(II) and Ag(I) is described. Chitin and chitosan may be used with aqueous mobile phases. The effect on the chromatographic parameters of some organic and inorganic substances added to aqueous mobile phases was investigated. These substances were: methanol, ammonia and acetic acid, and inorganic salts. The dependence of R(M) values on the concentration of these substances in the aqueous mobile phases are discussed.
