摘要
The new complex Ga(N(SiMe3)2)(OSiMe3)2py undergoes a smooth thermolysis, as monitored by H-1 NMR and GC/MS, at 155-degrees-C to yield to gray powder, (Me3Si)2O, and free pyridine. The X-ray diffraction powder pattern of the gray powder evolves into that of hexagonal GaN upon heating. A related complex, [Li(THF)2][Ga(N(SiMe3)2)(OSiMe3)2Cl], is reported and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
