Annotation. Gruzhevskii V.O. Definition of motivational needs for a motor performance of students - first-year students for formation of model of physical training in high schools. The article analyzes the real wants of motion activity of the firstyear students, their attitudes towards the organization, conducting and importance of physical training for their future profession. The basic factors of the students personality-oriented interests are established taking into consideration the ethnic and regional peculiarities of their previous place of living which must help to create a tolerant model of physical training in highes schools.
