摘要
The magnetic properties of nanocrystalline powders of Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4, synthesized at low temperatures, by a combustion method, have been investigated. Different powders containing crystallites of comparable average size, obtained by varying the synthesis conditions, show a large difference in the superparamagnetic blocking temperature due to the wide difference in the size distribution. The ferrite nanoparticles show large Curie temperature enhancement up to similar to 100 K, when compared to that of the bulk.
