摘要
The radish is a Brassicaceae annual cycle that has globular edible roots, containing vitamins, nutrients, fiber, and low calorie. This vegetable presents nutritional deficiency, especially nitrogen (N) causing lower yields of roots. The objective was to evaluate the effect of sources and rates of N in the radish crop. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Federal Institute of Goias State - Campus Urutai. The experimental was arranged in a randomized block design, in a factorial 2 x 5: two sources of N (conventional urea and coated urea) and five N rates (0, 40, 80, 120, and 160 kg ha(-1)) with four replications. Each plot consisted of a pot with 8 L of soil with five plants. For applications were used 100% of rate at sowing and 100% of rate at 10 days after plant emergence. The relative chlorophyll index (SPAD), leaf N concentration, plant height, number of leaves, length and diameter of roots, fresh and dry matter of root and shoot were measured. The N sources influenced the N concentration, relative chlorophyll index, leaf number, fresh and dry matter of shoot of radish crop. Nitrogen rates increased leaf nitrogen content and relative chlorophyll index in radish crop.
