摘要
The popular notion is that the economy was the most important issue-if not the only issue-on the minds of the American voters in the 1992 presidential campaign. This study used national polling data to determine if the economic issue was really the driving issue or if other factors, such as candidate character and social issues, were equally important explanations of voting patterns.
