Photgraphy in Latin American Literature

This paper proposes an analysis of the presence of photography in the twentieth-century Latin American literature. Through various authors, it is shown how photography is part of the plot of some works. The photographic image is central to the aesthetic design of novel and short stories, exerting a key influence not only on their plots, but also on their form and conception.
