Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is an uncommon gastrointestinal pathogen, recognized as a causative agent in some cases of mesenteric adenitis. We report the clinical and endoscopic features of a case of a 6-year-old girl with abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea. Colonoscopic examination revealed aphthous ulcers in the right colon, and mucosal biopsy culture grew Yersinia pseudotuber-culosis. This case documents right colonic ulcers and bloody diarrhea with Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. © 1990 Raven Press Ltd, New York.
