摘要
Lognormal distribution is known to be the governing statistics for most natural and technological processes from macroscopic sizes down to the micron region. The applicability of these statistics can also be expanded to even smaller sizes, to the nanometer and subnanometer scales of the clusters. This idea is supported by the successful fitting of the experimentally determined cluster size-distribution by a lognormal curve.
