摘要：

The transcription factor nuclear factor-kappa B ( NF-kappa B) plays a pivotal role in the regulation of the immune system, including the inflammatory response. The NF-kappa B signaling pathways also play an important role in bone homeostasis, especially in regard to osteoclast differentiation. The role of NF-kappa B in bone formation, however, remains to be fully elucidated. In this review, the effects of NF-kappa B inhibitors, focusing on bone formation, are described based on our findings.
