PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGERS UNDER MODERN CONDITIONS

摘要
The essence of the concepts of "education manager" and "professional training of education managers" are determined, the specificity of managers training under modern conditions is analyzed, the content and peculiarities of the educational program of the discipline "Educational Institution Management" are revealed. An education manager is a person, who holds a position of a director in an educational institution, vested with authority and makes decisions concerning particular kinds of institution's activity. Professional training of education managers is considered as a purposeful process of vocational development, which provides the formation of significant knowledge, practical skills and abilities as well as professionally important personal qualities, sufficient for the successful performing of professional duties. The content of specialists training is provided by the scientifically grounded system of didactically and methodically structured education material and is determined by educational and professional programs, in which normative and variative education content is defined, requirements for the scope and level of educational and vocational training specialists majoring in the specialty "Educational institution management" are established. Conceptual foundations of training master degree students majoring in the management of educational institutions in Ukraine are characterized. They form some theoretical theses: training master degree students should be carried out considering modern sociallyeconomic educational situation and its tendencies of development, master degree students training is based on the modern domestic and foreign progressive management conceptions, training content of master degree students has to reflect general foundations and peculiarities of educational institutions management, the educational process must combine theoretical, practical training, scientific and research work; the content of the educational process should systemically cover all main directions of management activity of educational institution's manager. It is proved that in order to use the scientific and pedagogical potential of educational institutions efficiently, it is necessary to put forward the demand about professional education of educational institutions managers, each manager should attend professional courses or get a Master Degree in the sphere of education.
