摘要
Polarographic and cyclic voltammetric studies of some sulphonamoyl pyrazolin-5-ones showed that they get reduced by a cl-electron diffusion-controlled process characterised by a single well-defined irreversible wave. A redox mechanism is also suggested on the basis of the number of protons involved in the rate determining step and the number of electrons involved in the reduction. From the results a possible structure of these pyrazolin-5-ones is suggested.
