摘要
Cot death or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) remains a largely unexplained and unpreventible factor in infant mortality. The existence of a dietary link between SIDS and vitamin E/selenium deficiency, documented through veterinary evidence, is posited as an etiological factor. Further substantiation of this hypothesis is derived from infant nutrition practices and cases of SIDS in New Zealand.
