EMPIRICAL ESTIMATION OF SURFACE ENERGIES OF POLYMERS AND THEIR TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE

摘要
An approach for estimating surface energies of polymers and their temperature dependence is proposed. It is based on the relationship between the surface energy of liquid compound and surface area. The calculated values are in good agreement with experimental results. Using this approach, it is possible to estimate molecular and group areas of nonlinear hydrocarbons and their derivatives. © 1992.
