摘要
Crystallization waves observed on solid-superfluid He-4 interface appear to be a unique "instrument" for studying thermodynamic and kinetic properties of the interface. Measuring of the spectrum and the damping of the waves allows us to determine directly important interface characteristics: surface stiffness and growth coefficient. Studying the spectrum and the damping as the functions of the interface crystallographic orientation allows us to draw the picture of both the surface energy and the growth kinetics anisotropy. The data help to clarify the nature of the roughening phase transitions which should be universal for all crystals.
