The effects of spin-density correlations in the paramagnetic state of strong ferromagnetic transition metals are considered on the basis of the effective-Gaussian-fluctuating-field approach (static and dynamic). Fluctuating-exchange-gap theory due to Hertz and Klenin is generalized for thermal excitations with arbitrary wave vectors and frequencies. This generalization permits one to calculate the characteristics of a short-range magnetic order, the intensity of paramagnetic neutron scattering, and the shape of angle-resolved photoemission spectra. The effect of the nonlocality and dynamics of fluctuations on the Curie temperature is also studied. © 1990.
