摘要：
This paper, beginning from an analytical contextualization, some thoughts about journalism, not only as a profession, but mainly as a scientific discipline, supported and justified his teaching in the Faculty of Communication. In times, journalism studies should train and instruct students, first, on how to identify and recognize the fact news newsworthy in a complex data environment, reviews and informational chaos that underlies the network; and, secondly, journalistic research without compromising the information ethics and quality in the writing, in pictures, corrections and production of materials in various formats of media-newspapers and magazines, radio and TV, Internet and multimedia.
