摘要
The atomic structure and magnetic properties of RE100-xFex alloys (RE = Sm, Nd, 1 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 40) prepared by melt quenching with a single roller method were studied. In melt-quenched RE-rich alloys, Fe atoms form amorphous clusters and/or are soluted in RE matrix. It is the clustered Fe atoms which contribute to the magnetization mainly, and some clusters behave superparamagnetically. The soluted Fe atoms have a small or no magnetic moment.
