摘要：

The article looks into the topic of aviation security in the aspect of anti-terrorism cooperation between the USA and the European Union. Both national and international dimensions in the partners' actions are examined with special attention to the asymmetrical nature of their relationship. The paper thoroughly analyzes the factors of potential terrorist threats in the sphere of passenger and cargo transportation.
