THEORETICAL PREDICTIONS OF LOW-LYING 3-BODY RESONANCE STATES IN HE-6

摘要
Using the cluster orbital shell model of the He-4 + n + n three-body system, we investigate low-lying resonance states described by the p-shell configurations of two valence neutrons in He-6. Applying the complex scaling method, we calculate resonance energies and decay widths (lifetimes) of excited 0(+), 1(+) and 2(+) states. In addition to the first excited 2(+) state, which has experimentally been observed and reproduced well by this model, we predict the second 2(+) (E(x)=3.43 MeV, Gamma=4.75 MeV), the first 1(+) (E(x)=3.75 MeV, Gamma=6.39 MeV) and the second 0(+) (E(x)=4.69 MeV,Gamma=9.45 MeV) three-body resonance states.
