摘要：
This paper addresses the elements related to international trends in engineering education in higher education, highlighting the main challenges universities face today in the context in which they develop. Modern society demands the teaching of engineering to form a professional who meets the requirements of contemporary development. These elements require an organization of the teaching-learning process and curriculum models characterized by being interactive and collaborative, student centered, and to achieve a lifelong learning.
