INTRACELLULAR PH, ITS DYNAMICS AND PROBABLE ROLE IN REGULATION OF SOME CELL FUNCTIONS

摘要
The intracellular and intralysosomal pH were studed on living monolayer cell cultures SPEV (pig embrio kidney), CHS (Chnese chamster's fibroblasts), NGUK-1 (neurinom of Gasser's gland of rat), and also on primary cell cultures of rat's hepatocytes and chick embrio fibroblasts. In cytoplasm and lysosomes of these cells were found out pH changes during cells cycle and cell cultivation. There was also showed a heterogenity of different parts of cells and lysosomes, and circahoralian pH oscillations were registered. So there was found a spatial and temporal pH mosaity of living cells. Thc probable role of intracellular pH changes via regulator of cell vital activity is discussed.
