CORRECTION OF THE INDUCED CHARGING CURRENT IN STAIRCASE VOLTAMMETRY

摘要
Based on an electrolysis model and the analysis of the equivalent circuit, equations and procedures applicable to the correction of induced charging current for staircase voltammetry were derived. A system containing solutions of 0.25 mM ferrocene and 0.1 M tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate in acetonitrile was studied. The feasibility of the proposed procedures was confirmed by a linear plot of corrected peak currents obtained with different sampling periods (from 100 mus to 10 ms) versus the reciprocal of the square root of sampling time.
