摘要
The thermal conductivity of packed beds comprising single component UO2 spheres surrounded by inert gas has been measured as a function of sphere diameter ( ~ 80, 200, 500 and 800 μm), temperature (376-1173 K), gas type (helium, argon, krypton and xenon) and gas pressure (0.1-1.7 MPa), using a radial flow technique. Assuming reasonable values for the temperature jump distance (or thermal accommodation coefficient), results may be fitted satisfactorily to a simple model which contains no other fitting parameters. © 1990.
