摘要
This paper uses a comparison principle to study the long time behavior of a certain class of nonlinear difference-differential systems. These systems are motivated by certain models of heart tissue and myelinated axon. The main concern is to find steady state solutions, determine threshold properties, and study aspects of propagation. The theorems obtained are supported by numerical simulations.
