摘要
A slope engineering case was taken for an example in this paper, geological analysis and numerical simulation was used to evaluate the stability of this slope. Firstly, GSI method was use to evaluate the slope rock mass, the results showed lower GSI scores in major rock, mostly located between 30 to 40. Then Hoek-Brown method was combined to calculate the mechanical parameters of rock mass, The results show that main rock cohesion is about 70MPa, friction angle of about 20 degrees, and the stability of the slope was evaluated combining with engineering geological analysis, that the slope is in a critical state, supporting is needed. Finally, the calculated parameters of rock mechanics was applied to numerical simulation, the calculation results show that the shear strain increment of slope has been through, and the stability coefficient is only 1.002, consistent with the engineering geological analysis, which proved analysis in this paper is correct.
