摘要
In order to fill a major void in the optimization of programmed field-flow fractionation (FFF), we have developed general theoretical expressions for resolution, expressed as fractionating power F//d//5 applicable to essentially all field-programmed FFF systems. The resulting integral expressions have then been worked out for a constant field/exponential field decay programming sequence that includes the Kirkland-Yau time-delay-exponential program as a special case.
