摘要:
A novel approach to the use of self-setting hydroxyapatite cement in a dental cement system uses CO2 laser irradiation is proposed to solve the problem of the insufficient hardness of the cement. After setting, the cement is transformed to hydroxyapatite which has a high affinity for hard tooth and bone tissuess. The Vickers hardness of the cement system is significantly increased by CO2 laser irradiation.
