摘要
The laws of electrodialytic transport of materials across solvent extraction membranes are discussed for the case where the limiting step of the process is the extracted compound's formation in the aqueous phase. Equations are obtained which define the rate of mass transfer of the component as a function of the kinetics of this reaction. The validity of the process description proposed is tested in the instance of electrodialytic iron(III) transport from hydrochloric acid solutions across a tributyl phosphate membrane.
