摘要
Neo-populism is more democratic than so-called liberal "democracy," since today, the latter is only a managerial facade for the policies of big multinational capital. Neoliberalism connected the notion of free market powerfully with that of liberal democracy in such a way that it plays at serving the imperial policies of abandoning social protection, liquidating the redistributing, regulating role of the State, and socially expelling the subaltern sectors. For its part, neo-populism (Chavez, the Kirchners, Correa) includes those who are habitually excluded and represents the impoverished and invisibilized sectors of society, which moves the hegemonic social sectors toward permanent revenge against them.
