摘要
A method is described for the precision in situ measurement of the inductance of a pulsed field magnet, for the purpose of monitoring deformation. The magnet remains connected to the pulsed field system, including any crowbar diode and capacitors, and a microcomputer is used to measure its inductance with an accuracy of 0.002%. Other features of the method include the simultaneous measurement over many frequencies and an accurate determination of the resistance of the magnet which is useful for estimating its temperature.
