摘要
From the recognition of the enormous difficulties implied in the comparative studies of historical situations, prominent figures or artistic works of very different cultures and without reinforcing the above mentioned task on a powerful critical device, the following article tries to be a brief general study of the Spanish work Don Quixote and the Chinese work ''Journey to the West''. Exposed both from a personal reading, I suggest using them as philosophical and cultural symbols of ''cultured'' human condition, because the human pulses encouraging the legends are universal and transcend the place and the moment.
