摘要
New highly concentrated emulsions have been made from fluorocarbons and nonionic fluorinated surfactants. They can contain till 98 % water as the dispersed phase. With such a water content, they are viscoelastic materials like gels. They are optically transparent, an original property for emulsion systems. The continuous phase is water swollen micellar phase. Their structure has been studied by small angle X-ray and neutron scattering, and correlated to rheological properties and stability (phase diagrams). The parameters of interest are the chemical structure of the surfactants, the composition, temperature and water salinity.
