摘要：

The study objective was comparing the profile of user and not ASS users in RT practitioners in Gurupi-TO. In the survey, 56 volunteers of both genders with age superior of 18 years who practiced RT at least three months participated Six colleges and a public plaza were visited, and each one twice and people who were in agreement with the criteria inclusion, were asked to complete a questionnaire enclosed. Among interviewed steroids users most were men. Among the most consumed anabolic stand out from the sustanon (58.3%), Deca-durabolin (29.1%), Winstrol (25%) and ADE (20.8%). Regarding the recommendation of the majority of ASS use was mande by friends (54,1%). Both groups perform nutritional supplementation and esthetics were the main reasons for this. The level of schooling of participants was also aggravating for a possible AAS use. The results show that the use of steroids is still very common among pratictioners of RT.
