摘要
The influence of protamine and d-mannose on the adhesion of Escherichia coli to human urinary epithelial cells was investigated using one collection strain, two urinary and one fecal strain from hospital origin. At a concentration of 100 μg/ml of protamine, inhibition occurs after a brief period of contact of inhibitor with either the bacteria or epithelial cells. The same inhibition was observed with d-mannose at 1.25 mg%. © 1990.
