The Application of Private International Law in Argentina implementation of the New Civil and Commercial Code

The Argentine DIPr norms are compiled in the Sixth Book, Title I of the new Civil Code. Although the aspiration of maximum of the internationalist jusprivatists, which revolves around the recognition of the legislative autonomy of a discipline that enjoys scientific autonomy, is not achieved yet, the fact of grouping a good part of the subject under a single title, although dedicated only two of its three sectors, is an important step in that direction. From this new situation a sector that was scattered throughout the repealed civil legislation and of different normative bodies that continue in force becomes visible.
