摘要
1. Whole-body temperature increase of 2-2.5-degrees-C was induced in rats by exposure for 30 min to conventional heat at 40-degrees-C or EM fields 27.12 MHz c.w., 2880 MHz pulse-modulated or 9500 MHz pulse-modulated with a specific absorption rate of 10.5 W/kg. 2. Such thermal effect caused augmentation of the submaxillary salivary gland accompanied by intense salivation, increased conductivity and water content. 3. There were some differences in conductivity and water content in the submaxillary salivary gland, kidney and peripheral blood in rats subjected to different kinds of EM fields.
