The following account is the experience of one safety professional who has been directly involved in each of the situations and developments related below. No individual achievement is claimed as it is recognised that the success which has been achieved is due to the efforts of many, equally hard working and committed directors, managers and staff of the company through their involvement in the development of equipment designed to reduce risks in the erection of structural steel.
