摘要：

A new species of Muricopsis collected at Isla Danzante, Gulf of California, Mexico, is described. Originally confused with Nipponotrophon galapaganus (Emerson & D'Attilio, 1970), the new species is compared with two closely related congeners, Muricopsis armatus (A. Adams, 1854) and M. jaliscoensis Radwin & D'Attilio, 1970.
