摘要
The comparison of solar photosphere velocity-fields with the day-by-day evolutions of sun spots reveals following phenomenn: the active centers (sun-spots and facular regions) are generally associated with up-draft areas, but sun-spot evolution (change of shape, scission and bursting into several spots) corresponds to areas of downward flow or at the boundary of upflow and downflow. A study for twelve cases suggests a systematic effect.
