摘要
The manufacture of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester/styrene composite materials by using a photochemical process is reported, as well as the design of an efficient photoinitiating system being able to start the polymerization reaction. The mechanical properties of the cured laminates are similar to those obtained by means of the conventional process. The effects of the mixture of photosensitizers, photoinitiators and additives are discussed.
