摘要
The transformation of high purity nanodisperse silicon powder, generated by inert gas evaporation technique, to silicon nitride has been investigated and the species were analyzed by various analytical techniques. The results presented indicate that Si3N4 powder prepared via nanopowder has no advantage over Si3N4 powder produced by conventional techniques. The preparation of Si3N4-parts from nanopowders is complicated by difficult handling procedures. Finally, results concerning the use of silicon nanopowder for joining of Si3N4-parts are described.
