In 318 consecutive patients with coronary heart disease the customary and mostly used pharmacological substances were registered at beginning and end of stay in the cardiac rehabilitation center and related to the results of functional diagnostic. The general view shows a moderate expansion of the medicamentous treatment. Including the results of functional heart diagnostic as well as the diagnosis group a partly remarkable shifting among the prescribed groups of substances could be found comparing the entrance and exit medication. It is striking that there can be seen an expansion of antiischaemic medication during phase II of cardiac rehabilitation.
