Application Of Classical Logic Discussion In The Light Of The Symbolic Logic

The aim of this article is to discuss the possibility of transcending the ongoing tensions between the premises of the classical and modern logic which have been continuing from the beginning of the 20th century up to present day and to evaluate whether both approaches have overlapping aspects. Thus, the study introduces a new approach about the applicability of the models of logic of discussion, one of the sub-branches of the logic, which takes place in Adab-i Sedat written by Ahmet Cevdet Pasa, who was one of the leading figures in thinking and politics in the period of Tanzimat and Mesrutiyet, with the symbols of modern logic.
