The process of risk identification and its influence in decisions on projects

摘要：
The influence of risk management practices in the success of the projects is a field of study that deserves attention from academics and practitioners in project management. The understanding on how decisions are structured under risk management and how they occur to the influences on the performance of projects is a possibility of research with many challenges. This work has the aim of understanding the role of the risk identification process in decisions (about risks) in projects. We used the research method survey to collect data from 35 projects. Their results, analyzed using statistical techniques, practices show that the risk identification process in the projects influence the risk of decisions on projects. In accordance with decisions taken was observed that there is a tendency to consider the impacts on the most frequently costs.
